Pack up your paints and join David for a small group art retreat on the Costa Blanca.
Our villa is just outside the small, historic town of Jávea on the edge of Montgo Natural Park. With two covered terraces that afford spectacular sunset views, a sheltered garden and lots of seating areas both inside and outside, this is the ideal place for you to focus on your art.
Recently refurbished to a high standard, Villa Ermita has six double bedrooms and six bathrooms, two large living rooms and a dining room with additional al fresco dining on one of the covered terraces.
For non-painting partners, the old town of Jávea with its port, shops and boutiques is 10 minutes by car. The large, sandy beach at Arenal is 15 minutes away, while there are coves and other bathing places aplenty plus kayaking and paddle boarding. Montgo Natural Park is right on the doorstep and ideal for hiking, cycling and riding. A golf course and tennis courts are within four kilometres. Cheap car hire is available at the airport.
During the week, guests will enjoy a sketching excursion to old Jávea and its marina (10 mins), an evening meal at a restaurant in town (not included in price) and an optional trip to the Sunday market (10 minutes).
There are frequent flights from the U.K. to Alicante which is an easy 1 hour 15 minute drive away.
Please note: Accommodation at Villa Ermita is on two floors and there are a number of steps. One entire floor of the villa is completely wheelchair accessible, however, and comprises one en suite bedroom and shower, the pool, pool terrace, naya and summer kitchen.
