‘It can’t be done – it’s impossible!’ – John Singer Sargent painting a watercolour.
In this friendly, informal class, you will learn exactly why John Singer Sargent uttered those words, but also why he went on to paint more than 2,000 watercolours in his lifetime!
This autumn, we’ll be continuing our study of the Tate Gallery Collection to find out what watercolour masters of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries can teach us today.
Gentle instruction, guidance and support from David.
