Description
The iPad is not a replacement for traditional media but a powerful and extremely useful addition to the artist’s kit box that challenges us to think about picture-making in an entirely different way. Colour, texture, gesture and form can all be expressed with the swipe of a finger, but to the beginner, the manifold creative opportunities the technology provides may be bewildering rather than liberating.
While it is a relatively easy matter to use the iPad as an ersatz, battery-driven paintbox, this course introduces you to a variety of procedures and techniques that will help you get even more out of your digital art and encourage you to navigate your way around your touch-screen with confidence.
Please note: you will need to bring your own iPad with Brushes XP or Brushes Redux installed.
