In the heart of the "Gorges de l’Ardèche", 300 m from the famous Pont d’Arc and 6 km from the jetty of Châmes, Le Belvédère is in a unique, peaceful setting admist the greenery of the Gorges and offers private access onto the pebble beach directly opposite.

The Ardèche Gorge in France is known as the Grand Canyon of Europe with spectacular limestone cliffs towering up to 1000ft above the meandering river. This is the great wine producing region of Côte du Rhône and Côte du Vivarais so vines grow in abundance and so does lavender. The area is also famous for its chestnuts, goats cheese, truffles and wild boar. Given such bounty, it is unsurprising, that all food provided by your hotel has been sourced locally and that the quality is sublime.

Aside from painting at the venue, there will also be opportunities to visit and sketch in some of the most beautiful "Villages de Caractère"of the region, including the nearby mediaeval settlements of Vogues and Labeaume.

What's included:
Tuition, both individual and group. Transfers from Avignon or Nimes (other destinations by arrangement). Accommodation with half board (breakfast and evening meal) for six days. All rooms are en-suite with telephone and tv facilities. Internet access is also available with free wi-fi hotspots.

What's not included:
Flights, holiday insurance (which is obligatory for all participants), lunches, personal shopping and alcohol.
